When Foster kids move, they often pack everything they have in a plastic trash bag. Our mission is to provide a duffel bag for every child in the foster system within the Inland Empire region. We are committed to eliminating the use of trash bags as a means of carrying personal belongings. A single, simple humanizing act to care for these children in the midst of their turmoil.
Small acts change the world.
There are over 8,500 children this year in the foster system just in San Bernardino County. Every one of them is still traveling with trash bags in one way or the other. We believe that small acts of kindness can cause monumental shifts in people’s lives. By humanizing and treating children in tough spaces with kindness, we believe that we can change the trajectory of these kids’ lives.
